From: Broken Gun Given to Grandchild

A grandson was given an old hunting rifle with a broken stock.  Attempts to repair the stock failed, and it needed to be discarded in order to repair the gift. Some wood shavings from the original stock were preserved to make sure that the same wood that his grandfather carried through the woods would always be there.
